Checking out the Space...
The Marryshow Folk Theatre is one of the oldest buildings in Grenada. It is located on H.A Blaize Street in St. Georges and houses the school of continuing studies of the University of the West Indies Open Campus. Though in dire need of renovations, Marryshow House has been home to Veni Vwei La Grenade Dance company, productions by RKD Theatre and Heritage Theatre and now, our home, Creative Arts Theatre. The theatre is a sacred place for dances and actors alike and the former home of Grenadian Hero, Theophilus Albert Marryshow. T.A. Marryshow, who was one of Grenada's first politicians, an advocate for Caribbean unity and a lover of cultural arts.
The stage is a beautiful space, only florescent lighting and the light board has only one feature that works...Lights up and lights down. we have to make whatever we have do, according to the old folks.

The night of the performance
The cast knows the importance of warming up before any performance, no matter how high or low the stakes. The love and support for each other is a common thread and the importance of building up walls rather than tearing them down is ever so prevalent. We also know that welcoming the presence of God comes first.
Highlights of the Performances can be seen below.
